This!
I'm going to attempt this.
I have some comic panels/ideas for the PMMM/DW crossover done, but I don't feel like scanning right now. 8D
Anatomy studies and actors' face(s) studies are coming. Look at me, trying to be a SRS COMIC MAKER person thing.
Anyone care to join me in this monthly challenge?
I would join, but I already missed a third of the month to do it "properly." And I'm already doing projects, so I guess that counts against the "not one big project" rule. So I'll just do my art in freedom since I do it all the time anyway. XD (I just have get on the ball with finishing stuff. >_> )
ReplyDeleteActors' face studies intrigues me! Now I want to do some sketches of my own~
And I'm still looking forward to your crossover, it sounds like it will provide much laughter. :3
I've fallen behind somewhat. ^^; I have some stuff done but I haven't scanned anything. I'll probably put them up in bulk at month's end. (And yes, you get to work! :P)
ReplyDeleteFace studies are a bitch. That's all I'll say for now. 8D (HALP!)
The crossover seems to be more of an irreverent homage to both series. I can't help but make fun of the stuff I love.
For face studies, single out the most identifiable parts of an actor's face and exaggerate them a little. The Tenth Doctor's eyebrows/forehead creases/freckles/beak nose. The Eleventh Doctor's long face and heavy brow. Like that. ^^ (Those descriptions probably sounded mean, but seriously, I like their recognizable faces a lot better than some random Ken Doll's.)
ReplyDeleteHeh, it didn't sound mean at all really. At least you didn't call Tennant a "weasel" as some have. I think he's exaggerated enough in real life though. 8D No reworking needs to be done on my part.
ReplyDeleteI shall get back to these!
Later! WHEE! *runs away*
Well, if he was an animal, he does sort of resemble one. But not in a bad way... weasels are actually really cute! <3
ReplyDelete*chases you* Weeee!
