We had to copy an artist's style; don't think I succeeded. >.> They're not done, so that's probably why. (My prof's like: "Y u not eva feenish?!", but nicer) I'm really slow.

Here's some experimental thing the prof had us do, which kind of baffled me. It's tracing paper with figures drawn and colored, pasted on good paper and colored over again. o.O Yeah, I dunno what I was doing.

Oil pastel-not done in the least. (But at least I'm paying attention to ALL of the colors in the skin, rather than just the peach tones)

I really like the class, since I've been trying different media (conte, soft pastel, oil pastel, colored pencil, etc.) I'm trying to get back into coloring a lot more, like I used to, with colored pencils. Currently, I'm working on skin tones in my sketchbook and using a simple tutorial to help (I have others but this has the least amount of pencils to use for now). 

My three Puellae Magi. I stopped since I think the idea I have would be better on bigger paper. They'll be bursting out of their Soul Gems (EGGS) with their elements flowing around them. If that made no sense, don't worry. XD

My Tennant (Cockerels crow whenever they please, thank you) and Simm(Mr. Cycle Shorts) portraits are coming out okay, I suppose.

Babbling (in list-form!)-

+ MMO Grinder/ChaosD1 takes the piss out of the show, Paranormal State. I HATE PS, so this amused me greatly.

He also plays MMORPGs and gives reviews on them. Believe me, it's more entertaining than it sounds. This one in particular is lulzy for the Engrish he encounters. I played lots of these games years ago, so I can relate to his frustrations. 8D Maple Story is also fantastic.

+I've been listening to the Blogtor Who commentaries, and I really like the hosts' banter. They're all close to an hour in length, so you may lose patience with it if you're not watching the ep at the same time or occupying yourself in some other way (which is what I do). Dalek in particular was awesome (I thought his explanation about why a single Dalek is even there and chained up is hilarious.)

+I've also been listening to DW audio books and audio dramas since I really can't read for “fun” these days, and I want to catch up on everything. Do you know how MANY stories are out there besides what's seen in the show? And that doesn't count the short stories and comics. ._.; The frustration of being a newbie. The ones I have heard thus far seem to be of the horror genre, which is odd considering how the show plays out before Moffat. I do like how the actors get into their roles. :3

+Last DW-related thing: I've seen the first two series of Sarah Jane Adventures. Despite some cringe-worthy moments (like the music that plays Every.Single.Time. Mr. Smith shows up), it is pretty entertaining. (It's a kids show, so of course it's cheesy). But there is one villain that gives me the creeps:

D: I think he would be more intimidating if he just didn't talk. His lines are so corny, and it kind of takes away from his sinister image (yet I still love the camp). But those EYES, or lack thereof. ;_; He just needs to shut up once in awhile.

+Game-wise: I've figured out how to play DOOM again, on Windows 7 :3 Now I can cut demons up with a chainsaw whenever I want! And I've recently acquired the Myst games; should be brain-twisting.

+Sherlock and Mad Dogs (with more “moonchkins,” I hope) return in early 2012. FWEE!

As for shows that are kind of “meh”: Grimm. I was very interested in this show, but it's three eps in, and I just can't give a damn. I did see a guy with a scythe in the preview for next week's, so I'll just see what that's about. >.> (Can't resist scythes)

NaArMaMo Days 1 and 2

Off to an okay start, I guess.

Nothing is completed. Oh, I was aiming for some level of completion but then I got into an altercation with someone and it sucked out my creativity. So, this is just proof that I wasn't slacking(much) yesterday or today.

First are the semi-comic panels (yeah, such a thing doesn't exist, but just go with it) for the PMMM/DW crossover. They're really just little scenes/ideas which will be fleshed out at a later date.
Like I said, nothing is done or cleaned up, so, yeah. 8D

1. A scene where Mami and Homura bump into each other. Long story short, Mami is convinced that Master is a dirty old man who wants to get into Homura's knickers, so she knees him in the happy place. I had to stick in this cliche scene when I saw this gif:

I couldn't resist. :D

2. Doc 11 and Master chill out, watching...something. Probably a kid's show, since we know Master is fascinated by those (and thinks they're real, how sweet). What ARE kids watching these days anyway?

3. Couldn't fit this in, but Doc 11 is scanning Homura with his Screwdriver (after she stops trying to hijack the TARDIS, that is).

4. Mami and Doc 10 go into battle (this will be made bigger, and I hope it comes out awesome).

5. Kyubey takes a liking to Master. This meeting never happens; I just didn't know what to stick in that spot. 8D

6. You can't see the gun in Mami's hands, but it's there. She's suspended in midair and hanging onto it. She was fending off some sort of fiend who was bothering Martha and Donna, but the 10th Doc put a stop to her gunslinging, since he hates guns n' all. There's probably a panty shot. ACK!

7. Doc 10 inspects Mami's Soul Gem (and it feels "dirty" and weird to him).

And in the very middle circle are Homura's Soul Gem(or as I call it: "egg") and a Grief Seed. For the hell of it.

Next is a WIP of my Sophia and Jadine's Sofya, but you can't tell because nothing is there. :P It'll be filled in later. Hardy har har.

Last is a half-shaded Nozomi, Riyna's Puella Magi. I've been meaning to draw other peeps' PMMM OCs, but have fallen behind. I'm such a bad fan. D:

Mine n' Yours

I was sitting in the doctor's office today. Since I didn't have any reading material, besides textbooks(goody goody), I took out my sketch book and doodled.

The bottom one was done first, and is something of a mock-up for a "pretend" title page/poster for my side fic, "Rainbow in the Dark." I kind of gave up on it as you can see. 8D
RitD was going to be about my Sailor Asclepius (also known as Aeraellyth), and "her" story before the events in my main "Shangri-La" fic. It would also feature her "wife" (long story), Sailor Enlil, who is that skull-headed person at the bottom; "Sailor" Shangri-La, who is in the background reaching out; and the spirits of the other Messianics. Only two other Messianics have official designs besides Enlil: Sailors Hel and Rati-Kama (near the bottom, first one under Messianics). The other five were in the works, but didn't make it before I stopped doing otaku senshi. They're represented by those balls.
I'm a bit sad that the fic won't be written in full, but hey, the ideas are being incorporated into my Demiurge story, so it's not too much of a loss. I won't get rid of my notes for it either (I need them for Demi anyway). Other characters are also in the story, like Sailor Aquila and her gang, and the Norns, but they wouldn't fit. >.>
FYI: "Rainbow in the Dark" is a song by Dio. The chapters were also named after song titles. (Yay?)

The scribble at the top is of Wild's Hannah and Seamine, from Legend of the Rose. I love the story, and Wild knows it, since I bug her about it a lot. :P I read it in its initial incarnation, stayed a fan during its hiatus, and am eagerly awaiting its full rebirth.
I really enjoy the ideas Wild has (in general), and think she doesn't get enough art of her characters. She puts a lot of work into them, and is quite dedicated to her craft (just look at her gallery. It has something new almost every day).
I like how the doodle came out, despite its awkwardness. :3

Zee Coloring List

I'm going to try something different when it comes to coloring. In her tutorial, Setsu-P says she scans a drawing then prints it out to ink and color, leaving the hard copy untouched. That way, if a mistake happens, another copy will be readily available. I think this is a problem with me. I've always colored on the originals and got pissed if something bad happened, leaving it unfinished or finishing it hurriedly and half-assedly. And that's a reason why most of my pics are half-colored. >.> So, I'm going to take a page out of Setsu's book and print out my old scans. Hopefully, they'll be colored. 8D

I've already started on that Chibi Tower Senshi Meshia after printing it on good paper which can handle colored pencil.

Circle's Sefina: *ahem* The original agreement was to paint this, but after messing around with it, it became screwed up (holes and crinkling). The problem was the paper, which couldn't handle acrylics. It had to be thrown out. Now that I can (somewhat) use oils, I'll look for good paper and see if it can hold onto oil(after I use Photoshop to erase those unnecessary lines).
Setsu's Isis and Cyrus (I need to draw her other characters soon. LOTS of those buggers are running around.).
Luna/Lotus' senshi: Even though she doesn't do senshi anymore, I still like these and had ideas about how I wanted to color them (with a limited palette, based on their outfit colors).

Bitch Stole My Look!

Since I'm done with the monstrosity the horse painting, I can start sketching again. But I'll paint again at some point. I just need to get my hands stretched out and working once more. >.>

Puellae Magi drawn at the top of my notes. Don't bother trying to read. The teacher talks so fast, so I had to scribble. What are they doing? Fighting (not with each other). Yup yup. It'll be transferred to bigger paper.

Weird creature idea. It has a bunch of ears on its horns. o.O The nerves and anatomy would be interesting to see.

Doodle of dark-skinned person. It's already smearing, but that's how pencils go. I like how the arms came out. :3

Me being haunted by geese. My campus is home to a flock of them, or several flocks. They'll honk and just STARE at you. O_O Some will attack people too. I had a whole group staring at me today. Fun fun.

Yay? >.> References- Gaga has been accused of using similar songs/rhythms, so Hedy doesn't want to be around her. Hedy's former boyfriend, Tommy Gnosis, stole her work (it was collaborative, I should say) and became famous off it, so she trails him as he tours the road. Teaming-up isn't appealing to her.

The wig thing. Hedy has LOTS of wigs. So does Gaga, and she seems to be on the lookout for more.

Well, I figured that since he deals in death, he'd be a little respectful of a personification of death. My Grimmy is becoming an OC. Oh dear.

Grace for Circle- I don't know how I came across this gal. I have three images of her and know nothing about her. (Care to enlighten me, Circle? :3 I'm curious about the dude too) I was intrigued by her expression; it seemed snobby, but I liked it. XD I like the hands here, but they're BIG. 

 

Jadine's Sofya/my Sophia- Not meant to be shoujo-ai.

Jadine and I joke about our two Demiurge stories competing with one another, considering how we both use Gnostic and Buddhist concepts and have a character based on the Pistis-Sophia (and other characters have similar names). Hers is more loosely based on the Gnostic mythology, while I take a more literal approach (idea-wise anyway. I doubt Sophia was meant to look like how I drew her.) That stuff on the left is a branch.

Derrot and Momoko- I know nothing about this Hello! Project, but Derrot loves it. I checked it out today, and DAMN. This “group” has a lot of people in it. I'm not into Japanese music mostly, but maybe I can find something I like within this vast...thing, ^^;

Momoko Tsugunaga is her idol/goddess, so I found a hairstyle and outfit that I liked of Momoko's. I dunno what happened. XD Japanese fashion is so odd sometimes. I added that ribbon/cloth to make it look as if she were floating like a deity.

Momoko is cute (the real one). I tried making her look Japanese. BAHAHAHA. Failed there, but I like the peaches that fly like helicopters. (I THINK she's associated with peaches. Hope so.)

Didn't paint today. D: I'll try tonight. Here's another pic of the WIP. I mainly added the ears, more shadows and muscles, smoothed stuff out, and the blue sky background. I've started on the clouds (and they're kind of difficult). Does that nose vein look too weird? I think I should add more suggestions of the veins since horse veins tend to be visible from the eyes to nostrils.

Anyway, yesterday I had a Tilt Table Test. I thought it would be easy, considering I would just have to be upright for a little while. Well, nooooooope. I started sweating, getting dizzy, my blood pressure dropped, and I began gagging (I had to fast so I had nothing in my stomach which could come up). Then they gave me medicine to speed up my heart. :D SO MUCH FUNZ, GAIZ!

ANYONE ELSE SEE ANYTHING WEIRD ABOUT THESE?! This sort of thing has always made me feel funny. >.> (I need a life, bahahahaha!) If y'all have anymore examples, please show them. I may start collecting these sorts of things. Dunno why yet; I find them intriguing and a little funny since the ad creators try to sugarcoat the reality. It's kind of like having animal heads watch you from above while you eat (Ex: steakhouses).

Part 2 of that 100 Characters Meme. A quarter of this is done. Yay-ness. (I have started the 25th square, for those of you who want to say: "24 squares are not a quarter of a 100, nitwit!")
Some of them look weird because I did them right after the Tilt Table. 8D Don't try to do anything productive after one of those, guys.

Codes:
S-La: "Shangri-La"- Sailor Moon fic. Fenrir is always looking at Garuda with that look in her eyes. o.O
"Queen" Shekinah and Mary- One and the same. Shekinah is a goddess figure of the planet Kolob (Mormonism), and is wife/mate to Jehyahlah, king/god of Kolob. She has lots of hair. LOTS. Think Mistress 9. It is attached to the walls of her room and crystals hang from it. These contain the prayers and wishes of her people when they call to her, so that she can keep track of them.
She is incarnated as Mary on Kolob, gives birth to Meshia/Sailor Heaven, shit happens, she returns to her goddess body, shit happens again, and she travels to Earth as Mary, where she encounters my Angelic senshi and becomes one of their mentors. Complicated? >.>

PMMM OC: Puella Magi- Kaze and Kashou-need to do real ref pics for these gals. I started on Shimo but Miss Derrot said it looked strange. D: *pokes her* Kidding. I'm fixing her so that I can start on Kaze and Kashou.
Kaze is using her can of raid and fire extinguisher to fight monster moths.
Kashou is attacking someone off-page. Her Witch form is peeking from behind her. The Witch of Denial always has her face partially covered. Her familiars are little flying things-bird bodies with human legs and feet and the "heads" are covered completely by veils. You can't see what's under them. Just imagine those coming at you. XD

D-S.M.: Demiurge-Sprained Minds - June(Hoon-yah) is something of an "incarnation" of my Sailor Archangel. Archy was originally named Junryou as a civilian. I used her likeness and something related to her name when I was creating characters for my original story. They're a bit similar. Both have tragic stories, weight problems, and psychological problems. June is more talkative however, throughout the story. Archy starts off as a (semi-)chatterbox, then becomes closed as time goes on.
June here is at the base of the Demiurge, who is shown below her square. (He/It is actually a lot more detailed) Another outfit of hers will look similar to Archy's, without the SM-ness.
Gabriella- Like my Adlai, she is a carry-over from a Heaven vs. Hell comic I worked on years ago. Now she's wingless and something of a gypsy. What's she surprised about? Hmmm, maybe Demiurge's eye is looking right at her. D:

Pristiq- Very basic design. Not done at all. The arms are weird. She got the short shaft since she was the first I drew after my test. XD

An Off-Day (PMMM)

Not my best day today. Nothing came out right, but at least I have some ideas. Yay?

First, my Shimo and the unnamed Viking girl who was shown briefly. Were the creators reading my mind? Did they already have this gal planned before I created Shimo? Are they watching me?! D: Or am I just being paranoid? (Yeah, that's it)
It came out horrible. But it got me thinking about how I can probably create a relationship of some sort between these two. *ponders*
I kind of like how quickie St. Joan came out. I don't like how the show included her as a PM because of the implications, but eh. I wanted to make her magical girl outfit anyway, while keeping her tough warrior aspects. (I've always admired her) Not done though. >.>

Kyuubey! This was going to be an Easter-themed thing, but someone beat me to the punch. XD I KNOW they're called Soul Gems, but I always mistakenly call them Soul Eggs. I find humorous the thought of Kyuubey laying these Soul "Eggs." Yeah, I got mad and made him derpy. I R SRS ARTIST.

I'll continue that 100 character meme. Hopefully, I can make something better this week. ._.; Nighty night.

I Wonder If Jesus Ever Snored

The title has nothing to do with the post. XD It was just a random thought I had while doing a sleep study over the weekend. During the same time span, I learned that I actually really like Katy Perry's "E.T." D: Odd video too; I kind of like it.

Okay, anyway!

There's a meme on dA that I'm working on, where you draw 100 of your characters (fan and completely original). See here. Aya is working on it and Pure has already killed it (twice). I'm slow. :D Here are my awkward beginnings. Some of these charas have not been seen much or at all by y'all. I'm doing this as way to keep track of how many I have and to prove that otaku senshi don't rule my OC mind. They do take up a big chunk though, I'll admit. However, I'm working them into my original stuff because their storylines are too non-SM-y to stay in that universe.

I'll adjust things as time goes on.

Itty bitties- You can't figure out what these are; only I know. Mwahahaha! These are tiny "thumbs" for bigger pictures I want to do. (Mostly Angel Sanctuary and 12 Kingdoms stuff)

Hell Known as Eden- Idea for a much bigger picture of Alexiel from Angel Sanctuary in her prison, most likely tied to a pillar or wall by vines and wires.

Sailors Asclepius and Sun- Remember those V-Day pics I was drawing? This is just a preview. They're being worked on (really late), but life is "eh" at the moment.

Songstress! Kashoku- From A Twist in the Myth. Awkwaaaaaard. But still fun. Which form should I do next? *ponder*
