It's days like these that I wish that no one had found me that evening in 2010, and I could have taken Grimmy's hand and left this place behind.

I just feel so empty right now. I haven't picked up an art utensil or written a single word of prose for two weeks. I try to, but think: What's the fucking point? There IS no point. None.
I've been crying for days, and seem to be chronically lethargic. Being screamed at doesn't help my appetite, so I'm probably going to lose a few pounds (which, in all honesty, I can benefit from immensely. So there's that.).

 I shouldn't feel like this. I mean,  I know I'm lucky. Very lucky, compared to some people I know. I just can't bring myself to care.

I have an interview tomorrow. It's part-time work, but hopefully I can move up once I get my foot in the door.

Bloglovin Problems

Are any of my fellow Bloglovin users having trouble with updates? I haven't received any in days. I can go through each blog's page manually and read the updates, but would like to know if it's just my end acting up.

Progress Report

Just a quickie:

+Rosalind solo pic- slowly getting worked on; will have another WIP to post soon. Thanks to Jadine for suggesting Copic pens; they may help with my skin-shading.

+Pencil drawing of Roz's true form. (Which looks like an O'Keefe painting in one section. if you get what I mean.)

+Inking a big eye- I want to get better at ink. Clothes and flowers don't seem to give me much trouble at the moment, so I'm going to do facial features for practice..

+Sailor Archangel retrospective (if anyone's interested in a certain character, I can do their "growth story" next)- started sketching her "forms" through the years; currently writing down any info I can remember about her from the very beginning (maybe those files are on floppy disk? Remember those things? Heh).

+Those two Roz and Cas pics- still stuck on these.

+ Quick Castiel portraits, from different angles. This should help with pics mentioned above. Damn his stupid face!

+Started on a few written scenes from SPN fic. They're short, and are really just being done to keep the creative juices flowing. I'm probably not going to write the whole outlined story I have. One scene will be posted on my Papier Mache Leaves, hopefully soon.

+I want to draw some art for my buddies, but I dunno which characters to do. >.>

+Working on various art/writing retrospectives for both blogs.

+Slowly getting older art saved from dA and thumbnailed to put on site (and HTML-formatting descriptions).

That's a longer list than I thought it would be. ;_;

Dem Eyeballs

I was looking at my "eye style" today and realized how horrible it is. They're so weird-looking when you really examine them. So now I'm trying to make them more realistic, with a reference.

With a pen.

It sucks.

However, I'm determined to make realistic, pretty eyes in the future. Practice time!

Eh

This one isn't going so well. I have forgotten how to ink apparently.

I'm thinking about doing something a bit different: the background entity/tentacles will be done fully in ink, the wings will have pencil and ink, and vessel!Roz will be done in purely pencil. Let's see how that turns out, shall we? I mainly want to do her in pencil because I honestly don't know how to shade skin with these pens. If you remember, my goddesses' skin areas were left completely blank. Using the smallest tip, lightly, just doesn't cut it with these Microns. Am I doing it wrong? Anyone have any suggestions for pens for "light" shading?

I wish I hadn't inked some of her pants now. -_-; Ack!

EDIT: And looking at this now, I've realized how short her legs are. FUCK.

My Face Is On Fire

(Should "Is" and "On" be capitalized in the title? I ask because I yearn for knowledge. Seriously.)

Anyway, after dealing with god-awful blackheads and other blemishes for so long, I declared war on my skin and got some killer astringent. When the air hit the "treated" areas, I screamed. A low scream, but hey, I didn't want to alert anyone. 8D It fucking hurt, and I started coughing and gagging. Then I spat a lot. However, the stuff worked. Now I have pretty pores (for now)! So, I recommend Sea Breeze if you're looking for that sort of thing. I got the Sensitive Skin kind. Lord knows what the other one would have done to me.

Anyway... (I abuse the ellipsis. You may bitch me out now.)

Back to inking!

I'm gonna try to post everyday or every other day on one of my blogs, in order to keep active. *snerk* If I get my retrospectives typed up, I can have the things updated automatically during the week, but those are just taking too long. >.> I've been looking for my old Sailor Archangel notes (from way back when she was Sailor Angel in 2000-01). I must have thrown that stuff out. Dammit! They would have been kind of funny to read again; the ideas I had were awful. 8D

I'm also doing that art progression meme I've seen floating around on dA, kind of. It's mainly for personal reasons, but if you wanna see, um, you...can, I guess? When it's up. Yeah.

Feathers! (and scales)

I'm having a wee bit of trouble with these, so they're taking longer than expected to sketch out. For a reference point, my death goddess series images were 9x12 in.; these are bigger. (Note: I AM still working on my Adam/Eve bristol image. I haven't forgotten. :3)

Short bitching: Why do I choose odd-featured actors to draw?  First, Matt and David, then Benedict. Now I can add Misha Collins to the list. Okay, he's more "normal-looking," but fuck, he's HARD. (Not meant to be dirty, even though I think he'd enjoy the implication of perversity. He be cool like that.) Even his frickin' hair's hard. D:

Hands are killing me. Again. At least I'll have fun inking those scales like I did with Eingana! It's hard to see here, but her scaly body parts do have small feathers in places. Also, the wings on those scaly "tentacles" each have little eyes. :D
I forgot her hospital wrist tag! ACK!

(Will be) Roz and Castiel when she confronts him about his sins. I have this scene already written inside my head. Can it be put to paper? 8D

Redone picture of Roz and Cas. Different angle, but I may redraw the other version (in landscape form) because I did like the original's idea/look. Then I can ink one and attempt to color the other. I've never colored on bristol. Might be fun. >.>
Yeah, Roz's pose is giving me fits. But I think I've solved it. I'll post another WIP later with her in it. Should I do progress posts like I did for my goddesses?
I probably should make his feathers smaller. They're almost as large as the ones in Roz's solo pic, and he's supposed to be further away here. Proportions, what are those? 8D

Should I post my music and video lists too? >.> Or are those just too clunky?
