Old Junk

These are from last semester, except for the last one. 8D Just now posting them. Shame shame.

Tripping/falling Homura- part of a comic panel for the DW/PMMM crossover, which is definitely on hiatus until at least May. I also have another DW story kicking around which involves that universe's Death (I blame the audio books and dramas, and my love for all things Grimmy).
On a random DW note, it appears that Mister Master(master of the universe, not counting, bahahaha!...Sorry, the poor dear screwed up.) has a Twitter account now. Some of the people I follow jizzed their pants at the news, I believe.

For the final in Figgy 2, we had to put clothes on three of our figures (on tracing paper taped on top of said figures). They were fun.

Here's my "nocturnal scene" for the class too. Meh. >.> (Ghosts in closets-oh boy, oh boy.)

Since I had to drop out of Painting/Drawing research the last time, I'm redoing the class now (don't ask). For my first series, I'm referencing Jimmy Wright and doing pastel abstracts of Chinese creatures(some real, some not) and plant life, with elemental influences. (If that makes sense) The first WIP is a dragon, with a Qilin/Kirin, tiger, crane, and Foo dog to follow. (Dunno what the sixth will be)

I'll put up my first Figgy painting too, when I bring it home. The professor says I mix color well. Yay? >.> (Not too fond of painting, honestly)

+~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~+
No new music at the moment, since I've been listening to audio books mainly (The Hunger Games, etc.)
+~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~+
And Derrot has posted three entries this past week. I need to read those (how did I miss 'em? I follow too many blogs, AGH!)

Aaaaaaaand, loving the new Sherlock series. <3 More please?

  1. Wow! I just realized how much your figure drawings have improved since you started this blog. Nice.

  2. You have come a long way <3 The dressed-up figure looks really nice.

  3. I'm looking forward to the comic this Spring! That pose is good! ^^

And a Twitter account? Is it an official Simm one, an official in-character one, or a fan-made one? :O

You're so good at drawing detailed clothes and their wrinkles. That project looked like fun. ^^ (The floral design on the second outfit must have taken a lot of patience, though! D: )

What did the class think of the ghost in the closet? XD

Your Painting/Drawing Research project has perfect timing, with Chinese New Year coming up. I like the color combination in the dragon so far (but you're right about abstract, it took me awhile to find the dragon's head. XDD) I'm interested in seeing the rest!

And yay for Figure Painting! It's funny (and frustrating) when people say you are good at things you dislike doing. XDD (Makes me scream inside and wonder if the person saying the comment either a.) genuinely means it, b.) is trying to say something nice without knowing I hate it, or c.) is trying to torture me.)

Don't feel pressured by my blogs. ;_; Just read them as and if you want to/have time.

I still gotta watch the first Sherlock series! It would be a lot easier if they put it on BBC America. XD

  4. Maybe a prologue will be done for summer? *keeps fingers crossed* Last semester 'n all, and after that, I don't really have an excuse to procrastinate. 8D

Yep, it's an official actor/normal one. Apparently the wife pushed him into doing it. He's adorable really. *gives ALL the virtual hugs*

It was fun when the tracing paper cooperated. 8D It liked clinging to my pencil whenever I took it away. YAY CLOTHES!

They thought it was creepy, but understandable when I explained its significance. (I don't like open closets in the dark; too much weird stuff can come out)

I didn't think about the New Year. What a coinkeedink (sp?)! I'll post the fire/Foo Dog one later today. I haven't finished either one because I keep picking at them (and you know how she hates us picking. XD)

She liked my first Figgy painting enough to put it on the wall. >.> So yay? Still hate it though. *stabs canvas* Oh, and they say it to torture us. It's a teacher's job to do so.

But I WANT to read them. I enjoy reading them even if I can say nothing. (Cuz I suck with words)

Noooooo! Don't wish for it to be on BBCAmerica. It might be cut down. >.> Would your library order it? I wish I could send them. (?)

    1. Yay! Well, I'm not in college anymore, and I don't have an excuse to procrastinate, yetIstilldo. o___o

Is that the @john_simm one? (I wasn't sure because it doesn't have the little blue check mark that says it's real.) He talks like a normal person. :O I'm so used to celebrities being safe or filtered through a PR. That's another reason why I was wondering if it was really him. XD

Oh yes, tracing paper is kind of annoying. And it's so flimsy and easily creased! D:

I don't like open closets either, but more because I have a habit of running into the door (ouch) and it makes the room look messier.

      Yay, more posts!

Aww, okay, I hope you like my posts and they aren't too boring (I can go on and on about idols like an aspie.) XD And over the next couple weeks, I want to catch up on the entries I meant to post since New Year, so there's probably going to be a flood of them until February. :O

Or they would just make it two hours and filled with commercials. :) But my library has it (at the library that is farther from me, as luck would have it) and I just haven't gotten around to getting it. It's either go out to the other library or put an order in and have the closer library call me (and I hate phones. It scared me when they called me about Doctor Who Series 3. D: )

    2. Yeah, you're a graduate. :P You smart person you.

Ya, that's the one. He confirmed it in a recent interview so it's not fake. He wants to combat "lazy journalism" so I doubt he'll filter himself (since things can be taken out of context in magazines). I don't have a Twitter, or I would say howdy, but alas...(probably a good thing or I could slip and compliment his brief time in drag)

And so easily ripped. I have a whole pad of it since it's not sold by the sheet. What am I going to do with a pad of the stuff?! *headdesk* Need some?

My closet can't even close. 8D So, lots of bumping in the night. Hardy har har. You're such a klutz. :P

They're not that long, and they're not wall of texts so I won't get bored. A little confused and maybe a laugh a bit, because it's funny to be on the outside of a fandom and see someone yak about it so lovingly (if that makes sense).
      Get postin'! *cracks whip*

Y'know, I don't think BBC even has commercial slots (in the UK), if their time slots are anything to go by. /random If it DOES appear on our station, then it might be years down the road. It takes awhile for shows to pop up on the channel (unless it's DW). Order it! :3 I would like to see how you like it.
(Can you get e-mail alerts instead? That's what I do, since phones aren't my fave thing either. XD)

    3. Yeah, but no job. D:

He actually might accept your compliment! XD

I have a pad of tracing paper that I've only used a couple sheets of. I need to find a way to use it up! XD I have a ton of different papers that I got over the years at university that I need to use up, because for my own projects, printer paper (because I'm just going color it digitally), sketch paper, and bristol/cardstock/special paper (for comics) are what I predominantly use. XD

Aww, stuffed full of clothes/art supplies/nerdy stuff? 8D And yeah, I'm the kind of person that trips going up stairs, or even just walking straight. That was kind of embarrassing, my first year of college, talking to a classmate while walking up stairs and WHOOPS! Luckily I caught myself before I smacked my face. XDDD But the classmate was like, "Are you alright?!"

I'll be sure to include many pretty pictures and videos for you to keep it not boring! ^^ And maybe after enough blah blahing about the various idols, you'll absorb the information, like learning a language (like next week I'm going to write about the Chuck Norris of H!P! And she's only a 12-year-old girl! XD) *gets to posting*

I think that's because it's not a cable channel in the UK, right? Kind of like PBS? I'll try to order it, but I just remembered that I forgot my PIN number. ;_; Which means I actually have to TALK to a librarian to get it changed. (I'm scared. Maybe I'll try to go to the out of the way branch of the library instead, after all. XD)

  5. Is there a position at the library? 8D I love libraries. Libraries are cool. And quiet. But ours still aren't hiring. Dammit! You're still doing commissions though, right?

I'm not about to tell some dude that I think he looks lovely in a blond wig and pink dress (or a woman's outfit with big cuffs). No need to scare him off. 8D

GAH! Damn universities. Always making us buy more than what is needed (or not needed at all). I have some Bristol too, but kind of hesitant to use it since it's a limited amount and I first need something nice to draw on it. >.> I may do a myth/goddess series for class, dunno yet (idea is in my head though).

Well, shoes are pouring out of it at the moment. Mainly because the books in the back pushed them forward. 8D So now there's a mess. I'm going to hurt myself one of these days jumping over crap. But artists are meant to be messy, right? Excuses excuses.
I would be that asshole classmate whose first reaction would be to laugh. Not deliberately though. Good thing you never tripped in front of me. Or maybe you did and I missed it. >.> *hides*

Why does everything have to have a Chuck Norris? <.< And bright pretty pictures are good. Very eye-catching. Yesssssss.

I have no idea (but maybe?). 8D I really need to edumacate myself about the UK more. Can't be one of those idiot Yanks forever, especially when I watch their stuff like it's crack.

There should be a way to re-assign your own PIN. (And do you know that you just wrote "Personal Identification Number number?" :P *is shot* ATM machine! *is shot again*) Are there any security and e-mail questions on your libraries' site? Might be different in Jax.
After all, we can't have you talking to PEOPLE. *le gasp* Hee. Do you stumble on your words? Stutter?...Barf? XD

    1. I don't think mine is hiring either. It's a small library, too. Why hire people when they probably have plenty of high schoolers volunteering anyway? D: (Yeah, I'm doing commissions, but I still haven't hit the mark where you're required to file taxes. I consider that a failure.)

I know, I have a pad of pastel paper I've never used. ;_; The extra inks we never used in some classes that came as part of the "supplies pack" came in handy, though. And yeah, same dilemma with my nice BFK paper. But I've finally decided to draw some birds on it. :D (And I want to see a myth/goddess series! I've been wanting to do an H!P series where each idol is a goddess of something. ^^ )

Oh gosh! XD I would have nightmares if my closet got to that point (well, I don't have a closet anymore, but a wardrobe... but IF I still had a closet... *shudder*) I don't think I tripped in front of you. Full collapses are actually rare, maybe only a couple times a year (remember when I first moved in to the house last summer and on one of my blog entries I mentioned tripping and scraping several layers of skin off my knee on the carpet and almost hitting my head on my chair or crashing into my desk and computer? That was The Big Fall of 2011. XDD) So I may have stumbled around you and caught myself before you noticed. :D

Because someone has to have epic tall tales and keep the other members in line. 8D

Oh gosh, I never realized it was redundant! No wonder the librarian's withering stare when I requested the number in the first place! D: I never filled out any security questions, so I do think it is different. It is a VERY small library system. Better than some library out in the complete sticks, but I do admit to missing Jax's library. The Main Library could eat both my area's libraries whole and still be very hungry.

People. ;_; Yeah, I stumble words, or I'm asked to repeat myself even though I thought I was talking loud enough as it was. And then the awkward silences or the stares that follow as though they are thinking, "Where are this kid's parents?!" or "Is this person mentally challenged?!" Some people are nice, but it's hard to talk to grumpy people. And 60% of the time I have to talk to the grumpy people. XD (I really don't know what I'm scared of? Maybe if they yell at me that I'd get defensive and yell back and then they would call security or something? Though I'm sure I don't appear very friendly to most receptionists or cashiers with my poker face and short awkward statements. I think I just don't like the unpredictability of new people. D: )
