Mine n' Yours

I was sitting in the doctor's office today. Since I didn't have any reading material, besides textbooks(goody goody), I took out my sketch book and doodled.

The bottom one was done first, and is something of a mock-up for a "pretend" title page/poster for my side fic, "Rainbow in the Dark." I kind of gave up on it as you can see. 8D
RitD was going to be about my Sailor Asclepius (also known as Aeraellyth), and "her" story before the events in my main "Shangri-La" fic. It would also feature her "wife" (long story), Sailor Enlil, who is that skull-headed person at the bottom; "Sailor" Shangri-La, who is in the background reaching out; and the spirits of the other Messianics. Only two other Messianics have official designs besides Enlil: Sailors Hel and Rati-Kama (near the bottom, first one under Messianics). The other five were in the works, but didn't make it before I stopped doing otaku senshi. They're represented by those balls.
I'm a bit sad that the fic won't be written in full, but hey, the ideas are being incorporated into my Demiurge story, so it's not too much of a loss. I won't get rid of my notes for it either (I need them for Demi anyway). Other characters are also in the story, like Sailor Aquila and her gang, and the Norns, but they wouldn't fit. >.>
FYI: "Rainbow in the Dark" is a song by Dio. The chapters were also named after song titles. (Yay?)

The scribble at the top is of Wild's Hannah and Seamine, from Legend of the Rose. I love the story, and Wild knows it, since I bug her about it a lot. :P I read it in its initial incarnation, stayed a fan during its hiatus, and am eagerly awaiting its full rebirth.
I really enjoy the ideas Wild has (in general), and think she doesn't get enough art of her characters. She puts a lot of work into them, and is quite dedicated to her craft (just look at her gallery. It has something new almost every day).
I like how the doodle came out, despite its awkwardness. :3

First, the nice ones. I hate to admit that the only reason these two are decent is because I couldn't think of anything humorous to with the characters. Nothing seemed to "fit." D:

Lissa- Kaleb's pic had the title of "I'm not fluffy." So I made him fluffy by pouring syrup on him with some feathers. YAY!

Kuki- Shinju seems to be an upbeat gal who loves justice. But I think messing up in front of people can deflate an ego quick. >.>

Miles Edgeworth(and Phoenix) for Derrot
When I looked up Ace Attorney, I learned that the guys have weird hair, odd clothes(Miles does anyway), and some fans like seeing them sex each other up. Nope, never played these. :D Miles' collar bothered me though. I thought: "He could fly with that thing." And so he does. Then he becomes a pest. Yep.

Jadine- Celi with an Ara voodoo doll. This is OOC for Celi (that grin). Sorry. XD

Pure - Yolanti is snoozing on the job. Hihaye is not pleased.

Momo- This didn't come out right. I think you can kind of tell what's going on, but it's just so jumbled up. 8D I should do a proper Belle picture; she's purdy.

Dubie- Du wanted a Weeping Angel(from Doctor Who). Look that up; I'm not explaining. 8D Then she said to draw it stalking a character who is eating a Snickers bar. Well, I was going to do one of her OCs, but I drew Du instead. (based on her avatar pic I found on dA)
I did this all from memory, as you can probably can tell. 8D Yeah, that's weird Doc and Amy in the last panel.

Sakky- Hooray for bad puns! I totes cheated on this one. The outfit is complicated. And before anyone yells at me about my designs, I have an excuse. I couldn't tell what was going on in the ref. 8D *hide* I want to do a proper picture of Bobbin though, a bigger one so that the detail can be clearer.
I do like the gator. :3

Zee Coloring List

I'm going to try something different when it comes to coloring. In her tutorial, Setsu-P says she scans a drawing then prints it out to ink and color, leaving the hard copy untouched. That way, if a mistake happens, another copy will be readily available. I think this is a problem with me. I've always colored on the originals and got pissed if something bad happened, leaving it unfinished or finishing it hurriedly and half-assedly. And that's a reason why most of my pics are half-colored. >.> So, I'm going to take a page out of Setsu's book and print out my old scans. Hopefully, they'll be colored. 8D

I've already started on that Chibi Tower Senshi Meshia after printing it on good paper which can handle colored pencil.

Circle's Sefina: *ahem* The original agreement was to paint this, but after messing around with it, it became screwed up (holes and crinkling). The problem was the paper, which couldn't handle acrylics. It had to be thrown out. Now that I can (somewhat) use oils, I'll look for good paper and see if it can hold onto oil(after I use Photoshop to erase those unnecessary lines).
Setsu's Isis and Cyrus (I need to draw her other characters soon. LOTS of those buggers are running around.).
Luna/Lotus' senshi: Even though she doesn't do senshi anymore, I still like these and had ideas about how I wanted to color them (with a limited palette, based on their outfit colors).

I need to code more of my site too. Geez, no wonder I get so flustered and slow down. o.O

Senshi, Attack! Round Deux

(A continuation of the first senshi post. *points down*) No references used; I'm trying to depend wholly on the underdrawing.

Enkai's Sailor Haumea- I love this senshi. She has Hawaii's mythology, history, and customs incorporated into her background without being stereotypical (no grass skirts or leis here!).

Setsu's Sailor Dis- She's supposed to have a  lot of hair, but the scan doesn't show it well. >.> I like the pose. It's awkward, but it's a start. :3

Pysi's Sailor Banshee- I wasn't liking this when I started, but once she had some character features, it became one of my faves. :)

Enigma's Sailor Metal- Oh yeah, baby! That is all.

My Sailors Dunamis and Principatus- I couldn't draw all these senshi without adding mine. :P I don't use them much (maybe someday), but I enjoy revisiting them from time to time.

Senshi, Attack! Round Un

These are a bunch of sketches that I've done in the past two days. I'm starting with the "eh" pics and progressing to the better ones. There are still problems, but at least there's a tiny bit of progress. (?) One of these days, I'm going to draw hands. Nothing but hands. I need to stop with this "mitten" crap. ._.;

Sakky's Sailor Alainya. Very awkward. o.O I like the hair though. :3

Top- Aya's Shian. She came out rather elongated, so she looks super tall and odd. She's supposed to be tearful because she thinks her uniform attracts the wrong sort of attention. (better view of outfit)
Bottom-Pure's three senshi: Phaeton, Eris, and Eridanos, and their three weapons meeting in the middle. Can hardly see them though, D:

Phoenixmaiden's Ratri - It came out okay, except for those mitten hands. I need to do more of this lady's senshi. :3
