RAWR

Yeeeeeah. Anyway.

(Two posts within 24 hours? Wow.)

First of all, the Crane which was messed up by the fixatif. D:

And I banged this one out today after Monkey:

It doesn't really fit with the others, since it's more realistic, but you know what? I don't care! :D I might change my tune tomorrow, but I'm just glad to have these done. Let's see if I can get the Metal done.

There should be a skull, seeds and a skeletal hand. Yup yup. Is it Earthy and Deathy enough? >.>

Time to relax!

  1. It's the gritty parts that are the "messed up", right? Otherwise, the composition looks great, flowing like air. :)

But the Tiger blows everything totally away... it's way realistic! :O It looks frightened, but that's no wonder considering what's behind it. XD

I hope you are able to keep up this pace!

  2. Weevie: Thank you, love. <3

Derrot: Yeah, those spots are like eye sores. D: I won't throw the thing away though. >.>

Loving the Tiger still, but the professor will probably take it down since it doesn't seem to go with the others. I'll insist that it stays since I want it and the Dragon to be like book ends.
Heh, yeah. All the photos I looked at had the tigers looking interested with perked ears, yet I somehow made mine look as if it's crapping itself. 8D

    Shhhhhhhh, don't jinx it! :P

    1. That would suck if it's taken down. It's like not rewarding improvement. :\ Because doing all these and trying to do them quickly probably helped you a lot on the Tiger. What if Metal turns out even more awesome??

      POOOOP! 8D

    2. She insists on seriesseriesSERIES, so they MUST go together. ._.; But maybe she'll leave it up since it's the best one (but she seems to prefer the non-realistic stuff, so... *weep*)

Don't talk about Metal! D: I failed! FAILED! *throws self on ground dramatically*

*throws tissue at you* Clean that crap up!

    3. But they do go together! You just got better with practice! Artists go through growing pains while they level up! ;_;

Nooooo! D: It can't be that bad! I want to see it in Google Reader when I log in again on Thursday! D:<

      Don't worry, I scrubbed it and Lysol'd it. :3

  3. She actually really liked them. YAY! She says I should stick with the pastels for now, or paint (no thanks!), and I might do that. My goddess series was originally going to be pen on Bristol, but if I want to be colorful and weird, working on big paper like the first series may be best. Lots of room to play (and disturb people) with! And the borders may work better with a bigger size.

Nope. I need to get started on my next series. No Metal.
Or maaaaaaaaaaybe. *wishy washy* She won't be there on Thursday so I don't have to rush to show anything.

    1. Yay! (And it's pretty predictable that she wanted you to stick with your current set-up. Which shows the importance of starting off with something you enjoy for your first series in her class.) Colorful sounds fun, but time-consuming. But you can do it!

D: Well, then I better see a WIP of Penelope next time I log in. XDD

    2. I'm actually doing the pencil/pen on Bristol for the goddess series. 8D I'm mainly doing it as a trial though. It'll be ILLUSTRATION (*le gasp!*), but from them, I'll choose six to make into pastel abstracts. That way, I can claim that I'm building on my ideas.
The pen drawings won't be colored (too short amount of time).

      ...Who's Penelope? Is she a stuffy? >.>

    3. Yay! I'm looking forward to it! I love ink~ <3

Ack, I meant Persephone, but I accidentally typed that character from my story instead. XD
